We are writing to inform you that Platte County School District #2 is aware of a bogus robo-email with a threatening message from a foreign country that was received by other school districts in Wyoming. Please be assured that the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community members are our top priorities. In response to this situation, local law enforcement was notified and our School Resource Officer walked our buildings as a precaution. At this time, based on the information available to us, we want to emphasize that we do not believe the threat to be credible. Our law enforcement partners are closely monitoring the situation.
